It features a barbed end for push-on tubing on one side and a quick-release or flange end on the other, making it a fast, leak-free connection for dairy, brewing, and chemical setups.
The key Components are included:
• Hose Barb: The ridged, grooved end where a flexible hose or silicone tubing is pushed on. The barbs bite into the inner wall of the tube to provide a secure grip, though external hose clamps are often applied for higher-pressure uses.
• Tri-Clamp / Snap Joint End: Instead of a traditional threaded end, this side features a flat, flanged face (a ferrule). A matching flange is pressed against it with an elastomeric or silicone gasket in between. A mechanical clamp is then snapped or tightened around the joint to pull the faces together, creating a highly sanitary, crevice-free seal.
