1. Brief Introduction of Products:

A CIP (Clean-In-Place) spray cleaning ball is a stationary or rotating device used in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing to automatically clean the interior surfaces of tanks, vessels, and pipes without taking the equipment apart.

Common Types of Spray Balls

• Static Spray Balls: Fixed in place and rely on high flow rates and low pressure to continuously flush the walls.

• Rotating Spray Balls: Spin much like a dishwasher arm, using the pressure of the cleaning fluid to create a moving scrubbing effect that provides better overall coverage and uses less water. 

How It Works?

• Design: It is a hollow, polished metal (typically stainless steel) ball or sphere with precisely drilled holes or slots.

• Mechanism: It is installed at the top of a processing tank. High-pressure water or chemical cleaning solutions (like caustic soda) are pumped through it, generating a 360° high-velocity spray or sheeting action that cascades down the vessel walls. 

• Benefits: It automates the removal of residue and bacteria, significantly improving worker safety (by eliminating the need to manually enter tanks and scrub) and reducing facility downtime.
