Stainless Steel Sanitary 2 Way 3 Way SMS Union Plug Valve

1. Brief Introduction of Products:

A union connection sanitary plug valve is a hygienic, quarter-turn flow control device used in food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries. It uses a tapered or cylindrical plug to direct or stop flow, and features threaded union ends that allow the valve to be quickly removed for cleaning. 

2. Key Components & Operation:

• The Plug: A conical (tapered) or cylindrical metal core sits inside the valve body. It has a drilled hole and is rotated 90° by a handle to either block or divert the product. 

• Union Ends: Instead of being permanently welded into the piping system, the valve connects using threaded union fittings (e.g., SMS, RJT, or DIN standards). These allow operators to unscrew the heavy-duty retaining nuts and pull the valve straight out without having to dismantle the surrounding rigid pipes.
