1. Brief Introduction of Products:

A sanitary breather valve is a hygienic mechanical device used on tanks and pipelines in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. It automatically releases excess pressure and allows air to flow in to prevent dangerous vacuums, ensuring the safety of the system while maintaining sterile conditions. 

2. Key Functions:

• Overpressure Protection: If pressure inside a vessel (like a fermentation or storage tank) exceeds safety thresholds, the valve opens to exhaust the excess gas safely into the atmosphere. 

• Vacuum Prevention: When tanks are emptied or rinsed, a dangerous vacuum can form, which could cause thin-walled stainless steel tanks to implode. The breather valve opens to draw in atmospheric air and equalize the pressure. 

• Contamination Control: Breather valves are fitted with sterile filters (often made of materials like polypropylene). This allows air to "breathe" in and out of the tank while blocking airborne contaminants, dust, and bacteria from spoiling the product.
